AL MUS C’AL SVUALE
OSTERIA FRIULANA

An osteria in the heart of Spilimbergo
Al Mus C’Al Svuale is a place the locals of Spilimbergo know well.
For thirty years, on Via XX Settembre, it has been the spot where people gather to eat well, drink even better, and spend time together unhurriedly.
A seasonal menu built on the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients, a wine list featuring over 100 labels, almost entirely Friulian, and that warm, welcoming atmosphere you just can’t fake: you either have it, or you don’t.
Here, we’ve always had it.
Thirty years of hospitality
Opened in 1995, the osteria has seen a few changes in management over the years, but it has never lost its soul. Today, it starts a new chapter under the guidance of Davide De Lucia, with the same philosophy as always: a warm welcome, genuine cuisine, and a passionately curated wine selection. A place to return to, feeling like the first time, every time.

The Osteria
If you are visiting Spilimbergo, the osteria is a must-stop for your break. Whether it’s to recharge your energy after a stroll among the mosaics of the historic center, for a quick glass of wine after work, or for an unhurried bottle shared with friends, you will always find the perfect atmosphere here. With over a hundred labels in the cellar and our delicious tartine ready to accompany every toast, it’s the ideal place to share a good glass and let time slip by in great company.
The Cuisine
Every dish is rooted in the season and the local territory. White and green asparagus from Friuli, wild-foraged sclopit, Coradazzi San Daniele prosciutto, oil-poached baccalà, handmade ravioli. Our kitchen doesn't chase trends: it knows its roots and brings them to the table with care and respect. The menu changes with the calendar, because the best ingredients are simply the right ones at the exact right time.

The Wines
The wine list is the manifesto of our belonging to this territory. Over 100 labels, almost entirely Friulian, selected from the best producers in the region: Gigante, Livon, Livio Felluga, Vie di Romans, Le Due Terre, Moschioni.
From Ribolla Gialla to Pignolo, from Friulano to Schioppettino. A cellar that would make many wine bars envious, set in an osteria where wine is still a table companion, not a solitary protagonist.
